    When do we need a lawyer? Let’s face it, it usually isn’t for anything pleasant or fun. If it was, lawyers wouldn’t have the reputation a lot of them have. If you are fortunate enough not to ever need an attorney, God Bless you! But if you ever do, finding the “right” one can sometimes be a crap shoot. I have been working in the legal field for over 30 years, and suffice it to say, I’ve come across good attorneys and some not so good, but when my life took a tragic turn (the loss of my husband), my need for a good probate attorney took on a whole new meaning. I did my due diligence – looked on the internet, checked out advertisements, even consulted the phone book (yes, I’m old school), but how can you tell who’s good and who’s not. One way – referral. So, on the advice of my boss (yes, an attorney), I contacted Yergey & Yergey – best decision I have made in a very long time! From the get go, they were professional, knowledgeable, expeditious and thorough. Oh, but did I mention kind, compassionate, and caring.
