Summary, this was my first time, experience working with Mr. Blake Simons after a family friend helped me search for a contract lawyer in, around Orange County, Florida. He does operate his office as a one person shop which provides that direct personal, professional level of dedication to your specific case. Meaning, your case will not be delegated to lesser lawyers or staff, so that certain attention to details may be lost during the hand off. Nonetheless, Mr. Blake understood my situation and helped me each step of the way to form an ideal resolution. Although, I didn’t get my ideal closure. I did get my vehicle back from the client, which is way more than what others got in the end in a very similar situation. Regardless of the situation and outcome, I am very pleased where I am at. Otherwise, it would have cost more time, energy, effort, and money to get to the perfect solution, which may have never come to fruition. In the end, ensure you have a contract from a contract lawyer before rending payment or signing any documentation. Expectations, as much as I wish people behave as respectable adults and don’t take advantage of people on a daily basis, this is why we have lawyers to help us navigate through the process but more importantly reasonable expectations for each step of the way. As much as I think I understand law, it’s different when you apply it to commonality. Ordinary people, business, law enforcement, and court have their unique approach to law and order that grants reasonable outcomes to the law of the land. Meaning, regardless if you know you are wronged there is a process to everything, and you cannot apply your just into the situation. This is why you must enlist the aid of a lawyer to help you navigate through the process and plethora of laws, regulations, etc. to provide you with a reasonable outcome. As much as you want everything in the end, you might not get it, and you may have to compromise to settle the matter. However, this is another life experience that I must learn the hard way for the future. Lessons Learned, If you are ever going to have a project for anything, ensure you enlist the aid of a contract lawyer to help you through the process prior to signing documents and, or rending any payment. Regardless if they are a subject matter expert or someone that you know in this group, hobby or whatever. Ensure you get a contract lawyer and get a contract signed. Again, I don’t care how famous, known the individual might be. List out entities, statement of work, payment method, communication, agreement, taxes responsibility, compensatory damages, timeline as to no vague and ambiguous languages, etc. Do not provide any payment until the contract is signed and reviewed by a lawyer.

Genuine, kind, timely, and professional are some of the words I would use to describe Simons Law. They helped me out when I was in a very stressful situation and explained my options in a very calming manner, which was very appreciated. I would recommend it to anyone!
