William J. Wieland II - Orlando, FL

Overview

Billy received his Bachelor of Business Administration magna cum laude with a minor in business law from Stetson University in 2007. Billy then attended Stetson University College of Law graduating cum laude in 2010. He was a founding member of Defense Research Institute student chapter at Stetson University College of Law. While in law school Billy served as law clerk to the Honorable Judge Stan Strickland of the 9th Circuit Court in Orange County, Florida. Billy previously represented insurance companies and Fortune 500 companies handling many complicated workers' compensation matters around the State of Florida. Billy has also been published in The Florida Bar: Workers' Compensation Section: News and 440 Report. He is a third generation Orlando lawyer following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Judge Bill Wieland and his father, Glen Wieland.

In 2016, Billy joined Wieland & DeLattre, P.A. as an associate attorney, after realizing his true calling was to fight for the rights of individuals and their families in legal battles. He focuses his practice in representing those who suffer injuries due to someone else's negligence and those injured at work. Billy prides himself on handling his client's cases with compassion and aggressive representation.

Billy gives back to his community through volunteer services. He serves on the Board of Directors (Vestry) of St. Alban's Anglican Cathedral and provides legal advice to the church, volunteers at the Orange County Teen Court program supervising and supporting at risk teens. He has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars which is used for outreach programs of St. Alban's Church.

When he is not at the office, he enjoys time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
