Overview

SCOTT KALLINS is a 40 veteran of the practice of law having commenced his practice in 1985 in Manatee county. While employed in a general practice at the commencement of his career, Scott experienced an education and appreciation of many areas of law and more importantly the impacts and effects legal and life circumstances have upon clients and people in general.

Scott has committed his professional principles and practice to fundamental courtesies such as always responding to client inquiries and diligently and skillfully performing his legal tasks.

Scott graduated from Toledo law school in Ohio and graduated from Western New England University with his Master’s in Elder law. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Scott moved to Florida after graduating law school in Ohio. He has continually lived and practiced in Bradenton making it not only his home, but the community to which he is devoted.

Scott has served on local not for profit organizations as a board member, officer and contributor since his arrival to the area. Scott has led the Manatee County YMCA as a long serving Chief Volunteer Officer, served on the boards of the Early Learning Center, Pace School for Girls and the Ringling Redskins.

Scott’s service extends to developing and promoting the introduction of the sport of Lacrosse to Manatee and Sarasota, 1st starting a Men’s program in the 1980’s and then a youth program, which has evolved into the extremely popular and expansive activity for thousands of local children and their families.

In recognition of Scott’s long term commitment to community he has been recognized and honored by the Florida Bar, The Manatee County Bar, The Secretary of Education for the State of Florida, and the Governor of the State of Florida.

Most recently Scott has returned to law school and acquired a Masters Degree in Elder Law completing the full circle of age related community commitment. Scott started his career focusing on children issues and activities now focusing on the matters affecting seniors and the aged.
