He handles first party claims and conducts Examinations Under Oath, provides coverage advice, and represents carriers in lawsuits, arbitrations, and neutral evaluations.
Mr. Herman has been involved in matters involving windstorm, suspected arson, fire, fraud, theft, collapse, and business interruption. He has significant experience representing insurance carriers in matters involving sinkhole claims. He has represented clients and counseled them in claims and lawsuits involving Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage and underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage. He also provides advice and represents insurers in matters involving bad faith issues, including responding to Civil Remedy Notices, addressing time limit demands, and defending against lawsuits alleging bad faith. Mr. Herman was named as a “Rising Star” in Florida’s Super Lawyers magazine.
