Overview
William C. Demas, better known as Bill, is more than just a disability dispute attorney that can handle a wide range of practice areas. He is also a proud member of the Pinellas County community. Born in New York, Bill was raised in Pinellas County from a young age and has deep roots in the area.
Throughout his life, Bill has been actively involved in the local community. He has served as the youngest President elected to his Church Council in the it’s fifty-year history and has assisted in the writing of the Parish Youth Protection Guidelines for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. He is also active in the Clearwater Bar Association and has served as the Chairman of the Bar’s Professionalism Section. In his free time, Bill enjoys supporting organizations such as Paint Your Heart Out, which paints houses for the elderly or disabled.
Bill’s local focus extends beyond his community involvement. He understands the unique challenges and needs of Pinellas County residents and is dedicated to providing personalized and effective solutions to their legal problems. Whether you are facing a disability dispute or any other related issue, Bill has the knowledge, experience, and passion to help.
Bill is a proud Florida State University alumni, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1994. He then went on to graduate Cum Laude from Stetson College of Law in 1997, where he initially honed the skills he uses every day as a practicing attorney.
After law school, Bill worked as an insurance defense attorney for over a decade, representing insurance companies, governmental agencies, and large self-insured companies on disability and insurance matters. During his time working on behalf of these corporations, he witnessed firsthand their neglect and mistreatment of consumers and citizens.
In 2009, Bill made the decision to devote his legal practice to fighting for individuals who have been injured, disabled, or denied their benefits by insurance companies, the government, or employers. With his extensive experience and passion for justice, Bill is the ultimate advocate for those in need.
