He broke down the case with my sister in law 4 different times and helped them come up with. Different strategies, to try and take on prosecution warning. If you don’t give him nothing to work with he can’t don’t expect any lawyer to help you pull a rabbit out of a hat but this lawyer Matthew. Has done. Done a great job that we’re satisfied with.

I went threw my case been. Being railroaded and treat it like some type of monster. In the court room. Untill I the hiring of Matthew. Happen, the air changed in the courtroom with him and he help the court see the truth in my case. Threw the case Matthew did his best to try to make the prosecution. Come down or drop the case matheth moved religiously. I did have some fears because it’s hard to find a lawyer who is really gonna help you. And continue to help you. Which I have now my case was going on for 3 years with 3 other lawyers being hired with them doing nothing but trying to get me life in jail. It took Matthew seven months. To get me a plea that me and my family could live with he even stayed behind making sure they got things right at the, pushy and mean probation office. Going so far as to tell the judge that they wrote down the probation terms wrong no lawyer. Will sit around and make sure your squared away the right way that he did. This review is from the heart I still think he could have got a better deal then he got me but the judge would have said no if it was better then that. Hire a lawyer would fight for you. This is the only lawyer I will recommend. And yes I am a black man this isn’t a paid review like a lot of this so called lawyers have this is the real thing. Thanks matthew.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
