Verified ClientHired Attorney 2024I highly recommend Mitch. My daughter got in trouble at school and was facing being expelled for 2-3 years, according to the assistant dean at her school. My daughter has been having difficulty, has a 504 in place and I've been asking the school for help for a few years, but nothing has been working. As soon as I spoke to Mitch even though my daughter doesn't have "clean hands" he explained to me the school should have seen that her behaviors were increasing, and she was in need of more supports. Mitch was excellent. He took a case that he shouldn't have won, even the team at the school said if I didn't hire him, we would've lost. I felt like he really understood my child and what her needs were and helped us navigate not only what we needed at that moment, but he also gave us advice on what she needs to succeed and be successful going forward.

Hired Attorney 2024Mitch Teitelbaum at Windsor Law LLC provided me with excellence across the board. He was professional, highly skilled, trustworthy, and extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely EXCELLENT! I reached out to Windsor Law with a rather atypical issue that required discretion, sound strategic guidance, and prompt legal action. Fortunately, I was in extremely capable and trustworthy hands with Mitch as he helped me to strategically navigate the complexities within education law, parental rights, and civil litigation. Our discussions provided so much value across the board, even providing me with a sense of comfort in what otherwise felt like a sea of chaos. He also provided multiple options for paths forward for my consideration, which allowed for me to clearly see that Windsor Law puts people first (and they don’t just string along clients for financial gain). Instead, they are deeply interested in solving the problem at hand so that children’s needs are being put first. I experienced excellence from my very first consultation request and throughout all interactions (albeit virtually, in person, via text, or over the phone). Each and every time I reached out to Mitch, he made himself available, proving that I could count on their team to be there for me during my time of need. Also, the preparation they provided prior to my hearing was extraordinary! Mitch is truly exceptional.

Hired Attorney 2023Mitch Teitelbaum Esq. is an outstanding attorney with expertise in law relating to education. He has been working with me to restore a student's medically necessary accommodations that were abruptly limited in her final year of college. He promptly answers every call and email with kindness and thoroughness, and works to avoid unnecessary expenditure and litigation, which is quite rare among legal professionals. As an educator, mom and former university administrator, I deeply appreciate the depth of his understanding, and the gracious manner with which he supports clients. I highly recommend Mitch Teitelbaum Esq. and Windsor law.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.
How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
