Hired Attorney 2015-2018Vincent LoCurto Law Firm helped me get through one of the most challenging times of my life during my employment discrimination case. There were times when I wanted to quit because of the pressure I was under but, Attorney LoCurto continued to encourage and motivate me as well as reassure me not to worry that justice will prevail in the end. For approximately 2 1/2 years attorney LoCurto, spent numerous hours working on my case getting it ready for trial but my case never made it into the courtroom. Due to attorney LoCurto expertise in employment law, my employer decided it was in their best interest to settle and I received a settlement at mediation. Also, not only has attorney LoCurto help me, but he has also helped my family members in legal matters and has done so free of charge where he saw injustice being committed. He always fights hard for the ” little guy” and is not afraid to take on any person or company. Never underestimate attorney Vincent LoCurto because he is a great attorney who will fight to the end and he will win by bringing down the giant(employer).

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
