Hired Attorney 2005-2008It’s honestly surprising to see a negative review about Ralph Mangione, because my experience with him was the complete opposite. He represented me in my divorce about 20 years ago, and to this day I still remember how steady, professional, and genuinely supportive he was during one of the most difficult times in my life. Divorce is emotional, stressful, and often overwhelming—but he handled everything with a level of calm confidence that made me feel protected and heard. Ralph was not only knowledgeable about family law, but also incredibly strategic and fair. He took the time to explain things clearly, never made me feel rushed, and always acted with integrity. I truly felt like he cared about the outcome for me, not just the case itself. Even after all these years, I still think highly of him—and that says a lot. Good attorneys come and go, but the ones who leave a lasting impression are rare. Ralph Mangione is one of those rare professionals. Everyone’s situation is different, but based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend him without hesitation. Gianna W.

Hired Attorney 2017Most expensive and self-centered attorney I have met. We paid a lot of money for poor service. I would never hire him again and don't recommend him as he doesn't care about you as much as about sharing his daughter's photos on your dime.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
