Overview
Verras Law, P.A., offers consultations by appointment at our Tampa office for estate planning, trusts, probate and trust administration, incapacity planning, business succession, and related asset planning. Founder and principal Spiro Verras established the firm in September 2003. A graduate of Yale University and Tulane Law School, he has practiced law since 1993 and is licensed in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and New York.
Spiro begins by listening to the people and priorities you have in mind. He explains what each document would do and invites you to bring new questions back as your family or business changes.
Estate planning is at the heart of what we do. We prepare wills, trusts and planning documents for a diverse clientele, including single parents, blended families and members of the LGBTQ community. For a business owner, that conversation can also cover how the company fits into the family’s estate plan. Incapacity planning includes durable powers of attorney, health care surrogate designations and advance directives.
After the loss of a loved one, Spiro guides personal representatives and trustees through probate and trust administration with care and clear explanations. For business owners, our work includes succession planning and related arrangements for transferring ownership or responsibility.
Tampa consultations are by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our main office is in Palm Harbor, and consultations are also available by appointment in St. Petersburg.
