Attorney Information

Overview

You have probably discovered what David came to appreciate growing up: Vero Beach is a wonderful place to live and raise your family. David obtained a Florida Real Estate License and sold real estate through Law School. Thereafter, and for decades, he has become a licensed Attorney and has been admitted to practice law before all State Courts in the State of Florida. He comes to Block & Scarpa with a wide range of legal knowledge and practical experience. Years ago he began his practice with the largest law firm in the County: Smith, Heath, Smith and O'Haire. Over those years David has represented clients in a wide range of areas of law, including: citrus, land development, business, corporations, condominiums, accidents, construction, real estate and complex estate planning. After leaving that firm he started David F. Albrecht, P.A., Attorney and Counselor At Law, General Civil Practice.

David is deeply committed to helping his clients meet all their legal needs. He feels by joining with Block & Scarpa he and his clients will benefit. That is because most of his clients' legal needs, anywhere in the State of Florida, can now be met by him or met "in house" through Block & Scarpa's over two dozen attorneys with a very wide range of legal knowledge and expertise.

David has served as President of the Indian River County Florida Bar Association. He brings a wide range of legal and practical knowledge and experiences, to Block & Scarpa as he joins their Real Estate, Probate, Trust Administration & Guardianship department. Over his years of practicing law, and in order to be in a position to better serve his clients, David has always endeavored to keep up with, and being informed in, updates and changes in applicable Laws. Thus, he was a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of The Florida Bar and Chairman of the local Bar Association Continuing Legal Education. David is also an accredited Adjunct College Professor at Indian River State College, where he taught Business Law for 15 years. David is a supporter of fair, ethical and Christian Business principles and practices and is a Charter Member of The Vero Beach Christian Business Association. Many clients seek him out and also refer their friends to him for all their legal needs, including Business, injury, Real Estate, Probate, Estate Planning and their Christian, Living and Loving Wills and Trusts. He feels personally rewarded when he counsels clients and helps them understand the probate process and when he counsels or guides them through perceived mysteries, confusion and hurt they might associate with a Probate.

David and his wife recently celebrated their Golden Anniversary. Together they serve as Marriage Mentors, and as Year Around Volunteers in Samaritans' Purse: Operation Christmas Child. They enjoy traveling and their recreational and socializing time playing Pickleball.
