Zorelly Torres-Sanchez is a Senior Associate Attorney at Asghar Law, where she practices exclusively in immigration and nationality law. Originally from Puerto Rico and now based in Jupiter, Florida, Ms. Torres-Sanchez has dedicated her legal career to helping individuals and families navigate the complex U.S. immigration system with compassion, strategy, and relentless advocacy.

Ms. Torres-Sanchez earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Prior to relocating to Florida, she worked at a boutique litigation firm, where she built a strong foundation in advocacy and client representation. She didn't originally set out to practice immigration law, she found her way into it early in her career, and once she began, she knew she had found where she belonged. Since 2016, she has focused exclusively on immigration law, representing clients in family-based immigration, waivers, adjustment of status, removal defense, humanitarian petitions, consular processing, naturalization, investment visas, and employment-based matters.

What keeps her drawn to this work is its reach: an immigration case rarely affects just one person. It shapes the lives of children and grandchildren who will grow up with opportunities their parents fought for. She's also candid about the fact that immigration law is often misunderstood as simple paperwork, when in reality it's one of the most complex and constantly shifting areas of law. Staying on top of it is demanding and, at times, exhausting, but she finds it deeply rewarding work.

She joined Asghar Law in 2020 and has since become known for her hands-on approach, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to her clients. She understands that immigration cases are deeply personal and often life-changing, and for clients who come to her scared or overwhelmed by the cost, stress, and uncertainty of the process, her goal is simple: to show them, not just tell them, that they're in good hands and that she genuinely cares about their case. Her clients value not only her legal knowledge and responsiveness, but also the empathy and reassurance she brings during difficult and uncertain times.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ms. Torres-Sanchez is passionate about serving diverse communities and ensuring her clients feel informed and supported at every stage of their case. She remains actively involved in the legal community through the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. She also serves on the board of Friends of Jupiter Beach, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community she calls home.

Outside of the office, Ms. Torres-Sanchez enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, playing tennis and golf, and staying actively engaged in her local community.
