Everyone that I have had the pleasure of working with at Gingold & Gingold were so responsive, professional, and thorough. They didn't treat me as just a "case". They took the time and listened to my every concern and handled it to my utmost satisfaction. Initially I thought the process of filing bankruptcy was going to be hard but Gingold & Gingold treated me with respect and dignity from the moment I walked through their door and gave me such a peace of mind. My experience with filing bankruptcy under Gingold & Gingold's representation exceeded my expectations in a major way. I can't thank them enough.

She handled my case with extreme patience and kindness. I felt like I was her only client because she and her team took the time to hold my hand every step of the way. Not once did I feel alone or forgotten in the long time frame of the case. Jamie touched on all details of my case. I felt safe and secure even though I had to reveal very personal and embarrassing facts to her. I highly recommend Jamie and her wonderful team to handle your personal case. She is a great listener, only does what makes her client feel comfortable and she gets the job done. She is the best!!!!

Jamie and her team helped my family through a very difficult time. Even when we felt discouraged with the process, Jamie and her team went out of their way to make us comfortable. Now that our dealings are concluded we consider Jamie to be a close friend. It seems that all lawyers get lumped into a broad negative category for being uncaring, overly concerned with billing for services and generally unsavory characters. Jamie and her team are at the opposite end of the spectrum. Always accessible, courteous and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie Gingold of Gingold & Gingold LLC to anyone needing their specialized services. Job well done!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
