Verified ClientConsulted Attorney 2018I am in awe of this very fine attorney, who is honest, ethical, and very down to earth. I met him and he was not able to take my case as he said I can handle it myself and there is no need to pay him to do it. He guided me and was very helpful to my needs and respectful towards me. I give him an A+ all the way!!! Thank You, Jason!

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2017-2018I got a citation and was charged by the police of sandy spring for disorderly conduct, first I represented myself in the municipal court of sandy spring , but they sentenced me to max penalty which was 5 moths jail time and one month probation. after I hired Jason, he got the whole transcript from the court(71 pages) and carefully read it and appealed it to the higher court. The higher court upheld the initial sentence, but Jason did not stop! he appealed the decision of the higher court to the court of appeal and even he coordinated with an human rights organization and with media (channel action 2 news ) and put pressure in the court of sandy spring. eventually , the court of sandy spring agreed to set aside the initial jail sentence and they just gave me 2 moths probation. He fought hard for me and saved my life. He spent a numerous time in my case and what he did was beyond my imagination. If i did not hire him, I would have been serving 5 moths jail time. here is the link of the story that was covered by WSBTV Jason treated me very good in the whole process, he got me a great result.

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2018Jason McLendon is an excellent attorney. He was open and honest about the outcome I could expect. He kept me updated every step of the way. He has an extensive knowledge of the law, and his work ethic and tenacity are unparalleled. What Jason was able to do for me was the best outcome that I could have hoped for, but one that I never expected to receive. I have and will continue to recommend McLendon Law Firm to anyone seeking legal counsel. Thank you Jason!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
