Overview

Michael Bauer grew up in South Bend, Indiana. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia in 2006. Michael then attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2009. While in law school, he was highly involved with the Moot Court program and also served as a Research Assistant in the area of Constitutional Law.

After being sworn in to practice law in Georgia, Michael spent some time as a Special Prosecutor at the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office. He later started a law practice focusing on estate planning and probate administration. During that time, Michael also worked extensively with a prominent consumer defense firm and served for several years as an Adjunct Professor of Advocacy at John Marshall Law School. Michael now concentrates primarily on practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate administration, and civil litigation.

Michael is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, and the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Michael is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court Northern District of Georgia.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys fishing, golfing, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
