Verified ClientHired Law firm 2020-2021Attorney Faucette handled my recent divorce. I’m so glad I chose her. She’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. She was very helpful through the entire process. Because of her skills and character I was stress free through the entire process. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a responsible and professional divorce attorney.

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019Excellent Service! Attorney Faucette was so awesome during my family law case. She told me about my options and potential pitfalls. This was a difficult time for me and my children, but she was so patient and took my calls no matter the day or time. I highly recommend Attorney Faucette for anyone seeking family law legal representation.

Hired Law firm 2022-2023I’m going to the bar ,I have paid this law firm September of 2022 by December of 2023 I fired her because she wasn’t responding to my calls and she never called me to explain what was going on with my sons case for custody,I have never even been to her office never available and receptionist is very disrespectful to customers.I have asked her repeatedly to give me updates on my money that was paid 4500$ no word or email or text,so I spoke with someone to help me with my situation and we are prepared to go to the bar just to get my money back.phone is disconnected and messages are all full please don’t let this happen to you or your family member my son is the one who hasn’t seen his father in two years because this law firm dragged this case until I had to finally wake up and do something about this so I’m prepared to go to the bar and rehire a lawyer and start over I will not let this lazy lawyer stop me from my child and I will be Dou everything I can to get my money back I haven’t heard anything from her in almost a month since I first fired her and that was a week before thanksgiving the same week my daddy died

Hired Law firm 2022-2023This woman is the absolute worst! She cashed my check going n 2 months ago. I called EVERY day for 3 weeks just trying to get a status update on my daughters adoption case. When I finally did hear from her, she told me she would email me some documents that we needed to fill out and have notarized. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for those documents. I have called her office every day for the last 2 weeks trying to speak to her and I have yet to receive a call back. At this point I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer to my pet fish!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
