Attorney Information

Overview

Rob Chambers is as local as they come. Rob was raised in Gainesville, graduating from Gainesville High School in 1983. After graduation from law school, Rob returned to Gainesville to start his practice, at the age of 24 years, in the District Attorney’s Office, trying felony trials in Hall and Dawson Counties.

Over the course of Rob's distinguished legal career, he has had the honor of serving the people of Hall County as a State Court Judge, Flowery Branch, Georgia as their City Attorney, and was elected by his fellow attorneys of Hall and Dawson County as their representative on the Georgia State Bar Board of Governors.

While a trial judge, Rob Chambers gained an extremely valuable insider's viewpoint of the judicial system while presiding over important matters such as: medical malpractice claims, automobile accidents/ car wrecks, trucking accidents (18 wheelers), contract disputes, driving under the influence charges (D.U.I.), speeding tickets and numerous other criminal and civil cases.

In an effort to focus on meeting the needs of his clients at Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP, Rob retired from the Hall County State Court and has turned his focus to the areas of Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Trucking Accidents, Car Wrecks, Slip and Fall, and Boating and Motorcycle Injuries. Rob also considers Eminent Domain (condemnation), Civil Contract Disputes, and as a former Judge, Rob also supervises our civil litigation departments (including general litigation and serious injury cases).

Since 1990, almost 28 years, Rob Chambers has practiced in courts throughout Georgia including the Superior Courts of Hall County (Gainesville, Oakwood, Flowery Branch), Lumpkin County (Dahlonega), Dawson County (Dawsonville), White County (Cleveland), Habersham County (Cornelia, Clarkesville), Jackson County (Jefferson), Forsyth County (Cumming), Gwinnett County (Lawrenceville, Buford) and the municipal courts of Gainesville, Flowery Branch, Oakwood, Buford, Dahlonega and more.

I was involved in an auto accident that was caused by the other driver. I’m an attorney myself and I understand the importance of obtaining the best legal help possible. I called Rob Chambers and he and his amazing paralegal, Emily, took care of everything. I received periodic updates on my case, the negotiations for my vehicle damage were negotiated promptly and fairly, and my entire case was handled with professionalism from start to finish. I’ve recommended this attorney and his team to several friends, which I would never do unless overwhelmingly satisfied with their services. No one can predict the outcome of a personal injury case, but this team worked hard on my behalf and I am extremely grateful for all their hard work. Highly recommend!

Don't proceed without Attorney Rob Chambers and Para Legal Emily Cox working on your behalf! Rob and Emily will work to handle everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. They will obtain the police report, secure the rental car (and upgrade if necessary), contact the many agencies billing you, advise you appropriately, and meanwhile keep you updated on all the specifics. Rob and his paralegal spent countless hours on my case and would not settle for anything but the best for my girls. These two will answer your call/email at all hours of the day and night and will make sure you are well taken care of. Without hesitation, I would recommend securing Rob to represent you in the event you (or a family member) are involved in motor vehicle accident. Without representation, you will most likely be taken advantage of....Rob will make sure this doesn't happen.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
