James Boles is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science as Magna Cum Laude of his class. While he was a student at Kennesaw State, James competed nationally as a member of the school's mock trial team. He then attended Atlanta's John Marshall Law School where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate. While in law school, James was a board member for the Public Interest Law Society, a Justice of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and a member of the Student Advocacy Board Trial Competition team. James interned with The Lotti Law Firm, LLC., and Lee Sexton & Associates P.C., where he assisted in criminal, family law and personal injury cases. After passing the Georgia Bar exam, James worked as a sole proprietor, founding the Law Office of James D. Boles, LLC., while working of counsel to Lee Sexton & Associates, P.C. In March of 2022 he became a partner at Sexton & Moody, P.C. James is currently a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity Alumni Society, as well as a member and previous metro-Atlanta Vice President of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He specializes in Criminal Defense, Family Law, Personal Injury, Estate Planning and Probate.
