Verified ClientHired Law firm 2021-2022I got a speeding ticket in his area and gave Mr. Whitesell a call. It was the day before Thanksgiving around 4pm when I called him. His office answered the phone and put my mind at ease (as it was 88 in a 70, super speeder). He negotiated the ticket to something I never expected. I don't know if I can say what it finally came out to, but it was well beyond my expectations. If Mr. Whitesell sees this and wants to tell the world what the final outcome was, I would be happy to give permission. Incredible service and at a reasonable price. Lesson learned on speeding thru Valdosta, but if you haven't learned your lesson...Call Mr. Whitesell.

Hired Law firm 2020This law firm did a fantastic job assisting me with my case. They were very prompt, not only with their initial response, but also throughout the entire ordeal. The moment I was contacted by Mr Whitesell's legal assistant, Kathy, I was confident that my case was in very capable hands. Within a very short amount of time after I procured their legal services, Mr Whitesell himself called me directly with a resolution, which I could not be more pleased with. I'm extremely happy with the outcome of my case and I absolutely recommend Mr Whitesell's legal assistance to anyone in need.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
