    Hired Law firm 2021
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a attorney/ law firm. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. I hired a lawyer from this firm and was charged 2000.00, I never got a chance to talk to the attorney in person after hired (Anderson). The only time I talked to Anderson after the initial consultation was on the phone, never in person, and never more than ten minutes. I hired the attorney from this firm in October 2020 and had to get another attorney from a different law firm in January of 2021, because the attorney could not explain or tell me what's going on with my case. when I asked (Anderson) a question I did not get a answer from Anderson at the time I ask the question. Anderson would say, I have to talk to another attorney about the asked question and get back at me. I got to the point that I realized that I was consulting with Anderson about my case and Anderson was consulting with another attorney for help. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. I did not receive any prepared documents from this law firm after I withdrew from this law firm, did not go to court, and was charged 2,000.00. do yourself a favor and do not give your money to to this Law Firm.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
