Hired Law firm 2025-2026I contacted SmithMarco Lawfirm after being told by a major bank that I would not receive any money back from a scam incident that involved a scam of over $50,000 from my account. I was reluctant to give them any personal information and skeptical about what the law said and what they could do for me. But in the end they were able to pressure the bank into returning my money and even got me 10's of thousands more than I lost in the incident. I am very grateful to SmithMarco-- Larry and David for all of their hard work on my case. They were very professional and proactive throughout my experience with them.

Consulted Law firm 2025I had a nerve-wracking experience dealing with a fraud case (bank kept refusing to refund my money), and while I initially reached out to several lawyers, Larry was the one who truly stood out. Hired Law firm 2025Larry Smith was recommended to me by another attorney whom I had contacted regarding a data breach of our investment company wherein our information was stolen and used to add erroneous info onto our account and remove a sizeable sum of money from same. I had been dealing with this matter by myself for five months, as my husband is incapacitated and could not be of help. I realized we may need an attorney after some unusual, and concerning, circumstances arose regarding EFT transfer and more. I'm grateful for the much-needed stroke of luck that we were recommended to Larry Smith. He was extremely knowledgeable about banking and consumer protection laws. He patiently walked me through each step to take, and at times, what to say when dealing with the bank and investment company. As mentioned above, he was extremely patient with me, also empathetic and understanding of our situation throughout the whole process. When I called to get clarity on something, or ask a question, he was always quick to respond to the inquiry. I, finally, no longer felt alone in dealing with this very complicated and worrisome situation of which I had little to no knowledge of how to handle. In the end, our money was returned to us without the need to file suit. Larry Smith made the last three months of the eight-month ordeal so much less stressful as I knew we had someone on our behalf to fight the financial institution(s), if necessary. I only wish I would have found him much sooner. I've worked for many skilled lawyers over many years, but there are only a few I would recommend as highly as I do Larry Smith, whom I had never known or worked for.
