Kristen Wolfe Roberts is a Partner of Walker Roberts LLP. Kristen has developed broad and deep expertise in complex employment law, general commercial and labor and employment litigation, healthcare litigation and business transactions. She successfully represents clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, matters before state and local governmental agencies and mediation. Kristen's practice also includes routinely representing employers in the healthcare industry, and advising clients in the areas of corporate law and business transactions. Kristen represents national companies in a variety of business transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Kristen's nationwide practice focuses on defending employers in employment matters in state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before federal administrative agencies and in arbitrations. Kristen has successfully defended employers in a variety of disputes, including in wrongful termination and discrimination claims, retaliatory discharge actions, wage and hour disputes and breach of contract claims. She also has substantial experience with federal OSHA audits, investigations and litigation.
In addition to traditional litigation matters, Kristen routinely counsels clients on employment-related matters, including statutory compliance with federal and state employment statutes, affirmative action compliance programs, worker classification issues and best practice management techniques. Kristen develops and reviews existing employee handbooks, and drafts employment policies, executive employment and severance agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements.
