Elizabeth Youakim has dedicated her career to serving families and children. She concentrates her practice in the areas of divorce, post-decree, child custody and probate matters. Elizabeth was drawn to these areas due to her passion for helping others and representing them, making her a devoted advocate for her clients. Elizabeth understands that each case is unique and works with her clients to develop strategies and resolutions that will benefit them long after their legal issues have been resolved.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Loyola University, with certificates in Child and Family Law and Public Interest Law. While in law school, she participated in the Civitas ChildLaw Clinic, serving children in both child protection and high-conflict custody cases, and was a University of Michigan Bergstrom Child Welfare Law Fellow. After graduation, Elizabeth was a Public Interest Fellow at Legal Aid Society.

Prior to joining Blacha Law Office in 2020, Elizabeth was an associate attorney at a firm in Oak Brook, Illinois, concentrating her practice in the areas of family and matrimonial law. Elizabeth is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. She is also a certified Guardian ad Litem in DuPage County. Elizabeth was promoted to Senior Associate in August 2022.
