Hired Attorney 2020Karen Stumpe was great. We went to her for personal estate planning. Very simple, but we needed durable POA's and wills. I realize this is a large firm but it was impossible to contact Karen; her paralegal or secretary prevented that. One document recorded my name as Julia, instead of Judy. My husband's name was spelled wrong on the final bill. In order to get Julia changed to Judy, I sent an email to Karen. I received a response WITHOUT APOLOGY from Michelle Michael, who I presume is a secretary. She corrected the page and sent it to me for ME to print and return. I am convinced Karen is unaware that her staff did these things. ON THE PLUS SIDE, in spite of the age of Covid, Karen was adept at helping us sign documents via Zoom. We were quite impressed that she could continue meeting our needs. Too bad her staff is unable to. In spite of them and in spite of even an apology, we happily have our legal needs taken care of. I only decided to post this online when I realized there is no other means possible to make Karen aware of the ineptitude of her staff because Michelle, etc., prevent me from contacting Karen directly. I would hire her again, if I needed her assistance, but I would tell her in person that her staff make her look bad.
