Attorney Information
Overview
Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Mitch Waldroup has called the Indianapolis area home since 2011, when he started working at Hensley Legal Group, PC, while still an undergrad at Franklin College.
Upon graduation, Mitch joined HLG full time in a business development capacity, eventually becoming head of the intake department. While working tirelessly to grow the firm into what it is today, with eight offices across the state and counting, Mitch attended Western Michigan University’s Cooley Law School at night and on the weekends, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2023. Though he is now an attorney, his mission remains the same: helping people when they need someone in their corner.
That mission is not limited to the courtroom. One of the things that Mitch respects most about the 25-year powerhouse culture of HLG is the way that Founder John Hensley gives back to the community. Mitch is committed to giving back as well, serving as Chair of the Epic Educator of the Month committee and taking an active role in the annual Backpacks 4 Good campaign.
Mitch and his wife Aryn live in Westfield, IN, where they’re raising their two children, Knox and Austin June, alongside their beloved family labrador retriever Charlee and goldendoodle Bogey.
