Attorney Information
Overview
Rob Beatson was born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in New York City, he officially became a Hoosier while attending Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he graduated with honors in 2013.
For 12 years, Rob served as a Deputy Prosecutor in Marion County, where he conducted over 50 major felony jury trials for crimes including murder, robbery, and narcotics and firearms offenses. He also worked on complex legal issues such as death penalty cases, insanity defenses, and electronic searches and seizures and provided training to law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and schools. As Chief of the Criminal Charging Division, Rob was often the first attorney to meet with the victim on a case, ensuring that they were treated with compassion and empathy on the path to getting justice.
Rob brings that same passion for helping injured victims to Hensley Legal Group, where he focuses on personal injury litigation.
Rob lives on the northeast side of Indianapolis with his wife and three children. While he’s now a proud Hoosier, he remains a die-hard Red Sox and Patriots fan.
