21st Century Vision, An Old Fashioned Commitment to Service

In the 21st century, change is apparent everywhere as scientific and technological advances reshape the way we live, work and play. Just as these developments have affected almost every aspect of our lives, so too have they affected the legal profession. Changes in law office technology and software now enable the 21st century lawyer to do things better, faster, and more cost-effectively. But in order to pass these benefits on to clients, there must first be a willingness to embrace change and adopt a fresh vision for the future.

At Scott Law Office, LLC, we constantly re-examine the way we practice law to determine how we can better serve our clients. Over the last several years, we have expanded our office and our technological infrastructure. Even more importantly, because the law is becoming an increasingly specialized profession, we have purposefully chosen to limit our practice to a few certain areas in order to give our clients the highest level of representation.

Although eager to embrace change in ways that will improve our legal services, there is one aspect of our practice that will never change: our old-fashioned commitment to service. Embodied within this philosophy is our promise to always treat our clients with dignity and respect; to provide them with the individualized attention and dedication they deserve; and to vigorously protect and preserve their interests.

Simply put, whenever we are entrusted with a client's legal representation, no matter how large or small the case, we regard this as a sacred trust, and will work diligently to ensure that the client's trust and confidence in us are well-deserved.

After hearing from respected community members that Mr. Scott was the man I should consult with, I met with Mr. Scott and took him on as my lawyer. Scott Law Office provided such a wonderful experience over the entire process. There was ample communication and a sincere human connection that went far beyond a business transaction. Mr. Scott and his entire staff showed that they cared about the well-being of me and my family. I was new to the process of a personal injury legal matter and the Scott Law Office explained the process to me as things were transpiring. There was never a point and time that I felt that I was in the dark on my case. Mr. Scott and his staff always took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I fully understood the process. I cannot thank Mr. Scott and those that worked on my case enough. Thank you!

My son and I had a lawsuit with Scott Law Office starting in 2020 and settled earlier this year. They were amazing to work and highly recommend if you are in need of a personal injury or wrongful death lawyer. They were understanding and very responsive to all of my questions. With all of the emotions going on during this time, they always reassured me that it was ok to feel a certain way and how could they help to make things easier.

Your Profile?  Update Now

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
