She participated in the environmental law clinic, where she worked for the Western Environmental Law Clinic on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
She was an active member in Land Air Water, an environmental law group that organized and ran the annual Public Interest Environmental Law Conference held in Eugene, Oregon.
