Overview

Benjamin Roth is a shareholder and attorney with Ball, Kirk & Holm, P.C. practicing primarily in workers’ compensation. Ben grew up in Oelwein, Iowa, the son of a postal carrier and middle school teacher. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2008 with a B.A. in political science, Ben received his J.D. with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2011. During his education, Ben supported himself by working in a trainyard and mowing lawns. Ben joined Ball, Kirk & Holm in 2023 after practicing with Fulton, Martin & Andres in Waterloo for over a decade.

Ben is a member of the Iowa Association for Justice, Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and the Iowa State and Black Hawk County Bar Associations. He is also the Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Core Group of the Iowa Association for Justice.
