Hired Law firm 2019-2020I broke my back at work when got hit in back by a pile-on and man did it hurt. Like nothing I ever felt in my life. Well the problem was the insurance took forever and when they finally did something it was to tell me they were investgating me rather than help me. I called George Pearson and he came to my room at the Hospital and I hired him on the spot. He made them pay my lost pay and got my back operated and made them pay me for my injury and it was big money to. He did a decent job for me.

Hired Law firm 2017-2018Mr. Pearson came to my Hospital room and I hired him. He did a good job for me when I had suffered a sever neck and head injury when a steel beam hit me in the head at work. I would recomend his services.

Hired Law firm 2017-2018I hurt my neck in a fall off a ladder at work and the insurance adjuster couldn't have cared less. She dragged her feet for several weeks while investgating my case. After I hired Mr. Pearson he made them start paying me weekly checks while I was off and send me to a surgeon who ended up doing a surgry on my neck. I apprecated his help and he only charged me 25 percent of my settlement.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
