Verified ClientHired Attorney 2025-2026I first worked with FH Law and John, Taylor’s partner, after a car accident I was involved in, and I was extremely impressed with the results they achieved for me. When I later found myself in a difficult custody battle with my ex-boyfriend, I didn’t hesitate to reach back out to FH Law. This time, my case was handled by Taylor, and from the very beginning, he made me feel confident that I was in good hands. Taylor laid out a clear plan of action from the start and took the time to walk me through every step of the process. He was honest with me (even when it meant telling me things I didn’t necessarily want to hear but truly needed to understand). As the case progressed, my ex tried to drag things out as long as possible, but Taylor didn’t let that happen. He filed the necessary paperwork and took the matter before the Judge, and in the end, I received the outcome I had hoped for. I truly cannot recommend Taylor and FH Law enough. If you have any legal issue at all, I strongly encourage you to reach out to them. You will be glad that you did.

Attorney Information
Overview
If I was asked to write one sentence that sums up myself as an attorney, it would be this: I truly care about my clients.
I had an entirely successful career in a completely different field when I decided I wanted to be an attorney; a professional musician. Watching my fellow musicians and friends get pushed around by the legal system in various ways, I quickly realized that I wanted to stand up for these people and give them honest legal representation. I grew tired of seeing the stereotypical attorney take their money and not give them results. I vowed that I would be different.
I entered my undergrad studies with a direct plan of attack to go to law school. I made every decision based on how it would assist me in getting to law school and beyond, all with the clear goal in mind … so I could help people. I had the vision and knew what I wanted. I studied under some of the best judges and attorneys from across the country before teaming up with John Hopper and deciding to open our own practice. We both had the same vision and it only made sense for us to want to work together in order to work for you.
I also work with an organization called Hanoi’s Lost Child Foundation. It is a non-profit group that raises funds to assist veterans that are in need. The organization has prevented many suicides, rehomed homeless vets, gotten medical treatment for those vets denied by the VA, and repaired dilapidated grave memorials, for example.
When I am not in the courtroom, you will probably find me lending my time with Hanoi’s Lost Child. Or, you might see me picking a few tunes on stage for a rare appearance of playing music once again. All these activities keep me grounded and my mind on my vow to help and get results for you.
What can I do to help my client? What do they need? What can I do to get them the results they desire? These are all questions I ask myself every day. This is what keeps me motivated. I desire to know that I accomplished what you needed me to accomplish. I relish in the hope that the next time you need assistance you will come back to me. I promise that you are not just another file on my desk. I want a long-lasting relationship with you. I want to earn your trust.
You will receive undivided attention to your case, making you feel like you are the only person in the room, even if you are surrounded by hundreds of others. If you have concerns about your case, I will take the time to talk to you and give an honest explanation of where things stand.
Contact me today if you are having a problem you think needs legal assistance. I will be more than happy to treat you like I have many others and begin building our legal relationship. I am ready to relentlessly pursue your rights. Always remember, your more than just a file.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
