Consulted Attorney 2017-2026Very prominent, professional, Man. He has represented me since 2017
-
Hired Attorney 2020-2024Mr. Salomon himself is a first class lawyer. He continued to represent me on 4 different dockets in 3 different courthouses in 2 different parishes, despite falling behind on some payments a couple times. He got a Armed Robbery Charge dismissed in 1 10 min Phone Call! A Charge my co-defendant and I fought for 5½ years with as previous lawyer. He literally got me a 2nd chance in society. All though his secretary and staff are some of the worst unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, lying clerical personnel I've ever seen. Id rather talk to DMV, state office, or a foreign telemarketer than those woman ever again.

Hired Attorney 2022Lavell Solomon is has to be one of the sorriest lawyers I've ever seen in my life and his staff are some of the rudest people you ever want to meet I would not recommend him to anybody you should actually be disbarred and shouldn't be allowed to practice law in fact should be put in jail for theft that's being nice about it

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
