Consulted Law firm 2015-2023Chip Forstall law firm claims to be a family business however, this is a LIE his nephew who’s name shall remain quotes “ I think chip is a great guy but he hasn’t seen me since 8 Mardi Gras ago, for that he shall be put to JUSTICE and put behind bars.” He also claimed that chip Forstall didn’t even know his name and sat him in his office and left him with bags of chips and locked the door after wards he just gave him a pat on the back and he never saw him again. My client also said that chip knows who sent this review and this is a warning before he takes matter on his on hands.

Hired Law firm 2020-2021Hi I’m Antoinette, and I’ve been working with this law firm for almost a year. The service I received from Lawrence Geason and Linda Harang have been amazing. They’ve explained the whole process to me and made sure I understood everything through the whole process. I highly recommend Chip Forstall Law firm to anyone. I now have a law firm I can call home. Thanks to everyone.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
