I know It is hard to trust a lawyer that you find on the internet, but you can trust Bradley Phillips. I am from texas, but I went on vacation to New Orleans for the first time last week. I got into trouble on bourbon street and woke up the next day with a court summons for this week. This is my first time going to New Orleans and my first time getting in trouble with the law. I called Bradley and he assured me that everything was going to be ok. I took a chance with him even though I thought he was fake because I had no other way of dealing with it. He called me after he got out of court and said I didn't have to worry about anything because the case was dismissed. I was extremely amazed and it seemed too good to be true, so I called the courthouse the next day and they confirmed what Bradley told me. If you are reading this, then you are needing help and you most likely don't believe this message but this really happened to me. Just give him a call and tell him your situation. Bradley Phillips is very knowledgeable and helpful. He communicates very well and kept me updated about everything. You will not regret it. Thank you so much Bradley Phillips!!!! P.S. DO NOT DRINK HAND GRENADES OR FISH BOWLS, AND WATCH OUT FOR THE SHOT GIRLS!!! Thank you.

Bradley helped my wife in a tough legal situation. He helped our family when it seemed like all hope was lost. He fought for her freedom and she is out of jail thanks to him. Thanks Bradley!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
