    DONOT HIRE! Reprimanded by the BAR for threatening his own clients! Mr. Hostage has a temper that rivals many a violent prisoners! I paid MR. Hostage $6000 to get my Child Support payment down and to remove my son from an abusive mother who had bloodied him in a beating. Here is what MR. Hostage gave in return: Abuse laden with racial slurs. Unauthorized charges on my Credit Card. Divulged Privileged information with my consent. Did not get the Police reports of my son's beatings. Did not follow my instructions Was dismissive of my claims Called me and my 11 year old '...liars..” Did not bother to read the case file Had no idea how to win the case. He put my son in a worse position then ever before after his mother found out he had testified against her. Please do not hire this guy if you want to save yourself. His Motion was thrown out even though he kept saying that he will be able to get to trial. It took the judge less than 5 minutes to dismiss the case. His temper is so bad that he was actually abusive to me in the court house. I took his abuse because of my son. When I asked him for a refund he became extremely angry and almost assaulted me in his office. I almost took out a Protective Order against him because of his threats and highly unpredictable behavior!

    Mr. Kahn hired me to gain custody of one of his three children (his only son) from his wife who was granted sole custody in another Court because of MR. Kahn's stalking as well as erratic behavior. Mr. Kahn wanted custody so he could raise his son in the Muslim faith and felt his wife was not following the Koran as strictly as he would like. What he did not tell me was that he had already sued for custody in another County and had been harassing his ex-wife through the Legal system, unsuccessfully, for two years before he came to me. He left his two previous Attorney's owing in excess of 50K which he refused to pay. During his tenure with me he filed false Police reports against his ex-wife and was reprimanded for doing so. He also repeatedly showed up at his son's school despite a Court Order to stay away. All this behavior came to light for the first time at his hearing in Montgomery County. While I was upset with him for lying to me and withholding information. I certainly never threatened him. I am in my 60's and he is thirty years younger. The Judge took note of his behavior and multiple prior failed Motions filed against his ex-wife. His Petition for Custody was denied. His statements about my temper or threatening him are ludicrous

    Absolutely HORRIBLE attorney for criminal defense cases. Long story short, I hired him because I thought he may be better than a public defender. Throughout my case, the public defenders I spoke to in the beginning all advised me against taking a plea deal with a particular judge. When the date of my trial came, I expressed my reservations about having this judge rule in my case to Mr. Hostage. He assured me that I would be okay. Even though the state practically asked for time served, the judge ended up giving me the maximum sentence of 5 YEARS in prison. Thankfully, I hired a much better attorney who was able to get my time served after filing a. Appeal. While Mr. Hostage might be a decent attorney in certain areas of law, he clearly has VERY little experience with criminal cases. I went through the worst few months of my life as a result of his terrible legal advice and representation. A public defender would have never allowed me to take a plea deal before this judge. Also, once that happened, he must have realized how badly he truly messed up because he offered no help in appealing my case. I never post negative reviews on Google. However, I feel an obligation to warn anyone who may consider hiring Mr. Hostage for a criminal case.

    Mr. Batista took a plea because the female victim him was angry, motivated and extremely angry over his deviant actions. She was also extremely credible. Given the amount of prison time the charges exposed him to, he willingly took the plea agreement which limited the time he could be sentenced. While he admitted his guilt, Mr. Batista never took responsibility for his actions and the Judge took note of this during sentencing. We were both dissented with the Judge's sentence. Contrary to his statement, I immediately offered to appeal his sentence. There was no discussion about Appealing his case. Mr. Batista's claims that he received warnings from the Public Defender are categorically untrue . Mr. Batista refused to take responsibility for his actions the and to this day blames his legal troubles on anyone but himself.

    Mr. Elgibali never retained me. He came in for a free consultation. I quoted him a fee which he felt was to high. I did not proceed with his case because he did not pay the retainer. He was angry that I would not let him defer payment until after his trial.
