Customer Reviews for Gritz, Hanifin & Shih, LLC

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019Our experience with Shawn and Henry from the Law Offices of Gritz, Hanifin, and Shih was nothing but positive every step off the way. From the first phone call to their office to our time in the court room we experienced nothing but pure professionalism and extreme knowledge of the law. Both Shawn Gritz and Henry Shih were easy to talk to and extremely familiar with the law. They made the experience stress free for our 17-year-old son. Henry was able to talk to the officer prior to going into the court room to reduce the charge to a non-moving violation which had no points associated with it. We are forever grateful to Shawn and Henry and would recommend them to everyone that needs an attorney in Montgomery County because they are by far the best!

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019While I do not typically write reviews, here I think a review is warranted as I am extremely satisfied with Attorneys Mr Gritz and Mr Shih. They are highly professional, demonstrate extreme knowledge of the law, and effective negotiators. Throughout the process they made us feel comfortable that we were in good hands. They provided clear explanations as to the various options so that we can make informed decisions. I am very pleased to have selected this law firm.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
