Overview
Sandra Guzman-Salvado earned her J.D. Degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Upon graduation, Ms. Guzman-Salvado soon joined the Metropolitan Office of the Legal Aid Bureau's Family Unit, where she worked for several years practicing family law almost exclusively. Thereafter, Sandra Guzman-Salvado devoted most of her legal career to the practice of family law for a private firm where she also served as the Firm's Family Law Case Manager.
Sandra Guzman-Salvado realized that by starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. Ms. Guzman-Salvado founded Law Offices Of Sandra Guzman-Salvado. Throughout her career, she has been representing numerous clients in State and Federal Courts. Having her own practice has allowed Ms. Guzman-Salvado to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation and protection.
Ms. Guzman-Salvado is active in a number of professional organizations including the Montgomery County Bar Association, a member of Montgomery County Inns of Court, Maryland State Bar Association, Prince George' County Bar Association.

Hired Attorney 2022-2023I am still speechless about what happened in the courtroom last year for my custody modification hearing. Sandra Guzman’s representation of me was unbelievably lacking. I could write so much about the shortcomings, but I will do my best to keep this review brief. Tens of thousands of dollars of my personal savings was taken/destroyed by Sandra Guzman and her firm: - They billed me for more than $70k - I paid more than $4k for experts, whose work was never presented in court - I was ordered to pay $18k for my ex-wife’s legal fees So many mistakes were made by her at the trial. The most egregious of which include: 1. The two most basic facts about my ex’s parenting were never even understood by the judge. Sandra did such a terrible job! These facts were the whole basis of the lawsuit. 2. I asked for all correspondence she had with opposing counsel on an on-going basis. She refused (is that even legal?) to share this with me until after the hearing (when it no longer really mattered). 3. One of the stated objectives of the lawsuit was to change how we share/declare Christmas vacation each year. This topic was evidently forgotten about and remains unresolved. Even sadder, is that this effort to modify custody was evidently the last effort I can make before the court. My understanding is that the court does not like to see cases like this re-litigated over and over. I had my shot with Sandra, and it was an abysmal failure. Run, don’t walk away from this woman and her law firm!!
