    Hired Attorney 2002
Attorney Wager represented me in the early 2000's. The one thing I remember Attorney Wagner telling me is that most of his clients can't wait to defend their discrimination cases when they've experienced an injustice. He continued to sell me on why I should let him represent me in this discrimination case. Frankly, I didn't believe it was an easy case to prove despite the obvious discrimination. I thought it was wiser for me to just move on with my life. I felt that Attorney Wagner needed money to pay the electric bill. He was a pushy salesman. Employment discrimination during the hiring phase is very difficult to prove. I felt he was preying on my feelings to get me to sign him on as my legal representative. Frankly, I still think he just needed the money. I lost the case. I would not refer him to anyone.

    Hired Attorney 2004-2005
Was A Great Lawyer when I hired him back in 2005. Until My sons trust went gone, missing , stolen? Contacted Att. Wagners last place of employment, Spoke to Attorney Wagner once. Attorney Wagner said he was gonna look into it and call me back. And GOT NO CALL BACK. I have Contacted The Board to Report his Associate Peter Castelluccio and how I can actually contact him considering he was the one who was given the money drew up my sons papers / Trust. And here I am now in 2019 and still nothing. But will not give up.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
