Attorney Information
Overview
"There are many practitioners in the legal industry, and I know as a member of the legal profession, the best way in which I can differentiate myself from my peers is through the high quality of my representation and the level of service which I offer to my clients. My philosophy is that I am here for my clients and it should not be the other way around. I strive to service my clients in the most professional and efficient manner from both a time and cost perspective, while ultimately achieving the desired end result. A successful attorney/client relationship is one of trust, hard work, communication, service and accomplishment. By establishing long term relationships with my clients, I am able to give back to each individual."

Hired Attorney 2017She went above and beyond to help my grandson. No one in that Northampton/Springfield court system had taking his concerns serious. She fought really hard for the truth. She was not afraid are intimated by Judge L.S. Fidnick who had not ruled in my grandsons favor during the period of several years, that she was the judge in his case. We will forever be grateful for her work. She made a major difference. My grandson is getting to live his dream.

Hired Attorney 2020-2021Simply put, Attorney Dialessi-Lafley is nothing short of amazing. She represented me on the fly after my regular attorney was out sick. Despite this, she handled my case with extraordinary care and attention, making me feel as if I were her only client. I was so impressed with her attention to detail, extensive knowledge, and commitment. She showcased her talents by preparing for a complex case with multiple filing from both parties in just two short days - and did it all with a confidence and compassion. Thank you, Attorney Dialessi-Lafley!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
