A Remarkable Attorney - Unwavering Dedication, Exceptional Knowledge and Consideration I am writing this review to express my utmost gratitude and humble admiration for the legal services provided by John Minock, whom I confidently assert to be the best attorney I have ever spoken to or encountered (and I've had 5 attorneys handling 3 separate, but simultaneous felony cases). From the very beginning, Minock demonstrated an unparalleled level of brilliance that immediately set him apart. His commitment to understanding the intricacies of my case, paired with an empathetic approach, made me feel not only like a client but a person whose life and concerns truly mattered. I can attest that this level of consideration is a rarity in the legal profession. As far as results, they speak for themselves. I'll never forget the prosecutor looking at me and saying, 'You're lucky you have John on your side; he really fought hard for you.' Now, understand that I wouldn't cooperate, so (it's my personal belief that as a result) they really threw the book at me, ensuring that I was rightfully charged with two additional felony cases in two additional, separate districts. John was my lead counsel and effectively guided my other attorneys in my other two cases; all three federal cases averaged roughly 60 months of prison time each. As a direct result of John's genius and dedication, I ended up serving a total of 11 months and 6 days (two cases served concurrently), and in the third and last case, the judge let me walk and gave me one day, you just had to be there to believe it (It's my belief that 'my situation' was presented accurately, and again, I attribute this phenomenon to Minock). I wouldn't want to go up against John in any courtroom, even if I had a 'dream team' of lawyers. Minock is distinguished by his intelligence, tireless work ethic and dedication to achieving the best possible outcome. I was consistently impressed by his attention to detail, thorough research, and strategic approach to every aspect of my case(s). Minock approached challenges with tenacity, leaving no stone unturned in his pursuit of justice. This unwavering commitment is a testament to his professionalism and genuine concern for his clients. Throughout the legal process, Minock maintained open lines of communication, ensuring that I was informed and involved at every stage. Minock exhibited an extraordinary ability to navigate the complexities of my case in a way that exceeded my expectations. His capacity to anticipate potential challenges and develop proactive solutions showcased an almost superhuman depth of insight. John is not only the best attorney I have had the privilege of working with, but his hard work and brilliance make him stand out as a paragon in the legal profession. If you are seeking representation from someone who not only possesses legal prowess but also genuinely cares about your well-being, John Minock is, without a doubt, the attorney you want by your side. I would consider him a personal friend and will forever be in his debt. I owe you a debt of gratitude John, God bless you and your family! K

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
