Overview
Founder of Reed Law Group, P.C., Steve graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1991 and has been a trial attorney in the Ann Arbor area since 1992. Although his primary focus has been Family Law, he has successfully litigated cases in various areas of the law, including criminal, personal injury, business disputes, and landlord-tenant issues. Steve’s goal is to always be exceptionally accessible to all his clients, making himself available 24 hours a day. As a family lawyer, Steve takes an aggressive approach to many of his cases to obtain the best outcome, while keeping his clients in the loop throughout the entire process as he guides them through their difficult legal journeys.
Steven is a court-approved family law mediator, a court-appointed arbitrator, a Guardian ad Litem, and a parenting coordinator. He has made presentations for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Washtenaw County Bar Association, and other associations. He is trained in Collaborative Law Practice.
Steve is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Eastern and Western District of Michigan, and all of the State of Michigan Courts. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Washtenaw County Bar Association, and various sections of each bar association.
