This man is an outright scam artist and because he has a law degree he can steal your money, violate state bar laws with regards to representation, and then just outright lie about services provided. NO lawyer will talk to you, you'll be handed off to some failed PhD that didn't make tenure that then asks you to do all the work he claims to do. This guy should not only have his law license revoked but he should be in jail for how he scams scared people whose Academic and Financial Futures are in danger.

Keith Altman makes misleading statements in initial consultations with him. His firm did the bare minimum work in my case and lost. I spent thousands of dollars and have nothing to show for it. Hire someone else because this firm just wants your money

Regarding your initial consultation with Attorney Altman, we regret if there was any misunderstanding about our familiarity with your school’s attorney. Our intention is always to provide an honest assessment of your case based on our experience and knowledge. We apologize if you felt that the work done on your case was insufficient. We aim to give every case the attention it deserves, and it’s concerning to hear that you felt we did not go beyond the basics. The outcome of your case is disappointing, and we understand the frustration this has caused. While we cannot guarantee results, we are committed to exploring all possible avenues to support our clients. It’s disheartening to hear that you felt abandoned after the case conclusion. We value transparency and honesty in our reviews and assure you that we do not engage in any practices to falsify reviews. Your experience and feedback are important to us, and we will use this information to improve our services.

    Consulted Attorney 2023
When Keith first called us, I cried when we hung up as he appeared to be an attorney who actually listened. Within hours I emailed everything and told him about everything. They canceled my litigation intake team insisting I meet with the SPED team who blatantly said they had nothing to offer as we had moved our kids and they now had proper IEPs. We had issues of retaliation and the school filing legal action against me in retaliation for contacting MDE and MNDHR. With most recently the school defaming me by calling me a KGB agent and Hitler propagandist and having Munchausen by Proxy. We were eager to meet with Keith and the litigation team due to our first conversation. 11 days later their director Kim and Lori emailed us stating that they were canceling our litigation intake on Keith's word. 11 days we waited. Still to this moment I am willing to bet no one in the litigation team knows the whole situation and they just canceled. I now believe we were duped by Keith, and he does not do complex litigation but rather simple IEP disputes and we regret not responding to the other attorneys who had called us as we believed in what he had stated to us. Consult with him but don't be surprised if with no notice they decide to cancel everything, to this date we never got a chance to speak with the litigation team.

Thank you for your feedback, Matthew. Your disappointment is evident from your review, and we are in turn disappointed that you did not have the experience you were looking for. It was a privilege to fight for your son's educational rights. Our advocacy efforts and negotiations with the school allowed him to continue his education through the remainder of the semester while his needs were evaluated and a plan developed to meet them. Following our advocacy for your son, we chose to review the information you provided to investigate the potential to assist you with a lawsuit. We determined that we were not the right firm to pursue your further goals through litigation. We regret if there was miscommunication regarding the outcome you sought. We appreciate you allowing us to advocate for you and know your son has a great future ahead.
