I was just 20 yrs old when I retained Patricia Cooper a decision that ruined my entire life. Police were called by some crackpot stating I had a gun. I had no priors. No law broken even if it were true, which it was not. However police came to harrass me and my then 9 month pregnant fiancee. Holding us at gunpoint. Totally cooperative and respectful I allowed them to unlawfully search and detain me. My fiancee ,9 mo pregnant, could not lay face down per hazel park police orders due to her precluding stomach even though they held her at gunpoint. The officers then began stomping my 9 mo pregnsnt fiancee in the stomach demanding she comply tobtheir unlawful orders. She began severely hemoraging and screaming for help begging them to call for paramedics. No gun ever found regardless of either of our legal ability to carry. The police just kept stomping her unlawfully detaining us pursuing an investigation into an incident report that carried absolutely no evidence a crime was even being committed. I panicked kicked out the police car window to get them to stop jumped out to help her. The police then left her there profusely bleeding to come arrest me never calling for paramedics as she laid there bleeding and i believed miscarrying. When the cops came to arrest me i allegedly head butted the officer that was kicking my fiancee tripped him (handcuffed) and detained him until his partner called paramedics. As soon as his partner called paramedics i got off the officer and cooperating with them again. I obviously was unlawfully detained to begin with our constitutional rights to due process were violated and i was obviously defending my pregnant fiancee saving my then unborn daughter's and fiancees lives. Obvious defense obvious extremely eggregious unconstitutional police misconduct and my actions were obvious fruit of that extremely unlawful and unconstitutionsl detention and attempted murder of my unborn child and pregnant fiancee. Not only did Patricia Cooper advise us that we had no defense but charged us 5k to represent us promising wed get probation not once informing the prosecutor or judge as to what transpired and we were both then convicted of felonies and targeted by police ever since. Patricia Cooper knew we were nieve to the law and looked at it as a quick fast money grab and advised us to plead guilty to avoid a trial or any pretrial motions that would be a landslide win at trial as well as any pretrial motions if she prepared would have led to dismissal. Placed us in a position to file civil litigation that would, no question, set us up financially for life due to being victims of criminsl police misconduct. But no, patricua she took the quick 5k advised us to plead guilty making us felons that ruined our lives for ever. We struggled our entire lives due to this incident with housing as well as employment and were targeted in subsequent investigations leading to a lifetime of police harrassment and malicious prosecutions that i once again called her for which she once again seen as another quick money grab taking my hard earned money and maliciosly advising me there was no defense. I have now studied law and just discovered her criminal practice. I was young ignorant to the law and completely relied upon her for advise and her assistsnce. i should have known she was crooked when I was told she was a cocaine addict and shown videos of her snorting piles of cocaine at an underground club with known criminals. This woman should be disbarred and held financially responsible for ruining our entire lives as well as criminally held responsible for "larceny by trickery", and her illegal participation in illicit drug use, as well as this "police cover up" that she obviously took full advantage of criminally.
