    Consulted Attorney 2022
I was falsely accused of larceny by a deadbeat guy, that lived in a drug house. Never in my adult life have I stolen something. The deadbeat didn’t show up to multiple hearings. Also, he told the prosecutor he didn’t want to press charges. I thought I’d be able to explain how I’m innocent and the details of the situation. NOPE! He treated me like I was a criminal. He yelled at me and wouldn’t let me speak. Seriously, he had me in tears. Why is he a defense lawyer if he believes every client is guilty?!!! He shouldn’t be practicing law; he treats his own clients like garbage.

    Hired Attorney 2018-2019
He did not return my calls, He jumped in my face in the room inside of the courthouse, He yelled at me in the room and he is a liar and lied about not receiving my message. He plays the victim and he works silently with the crooked judge Mark McConnell and the crooked prosecutor. That court house is racist and bias and they need to be investigated . Darrn Weinberg, judge Mark McConnell and that fat big headed prosecutor and the evil female prosecutor. They are about extorting clients and innocent people and giving innocent people criminal records. They are running a racist courthouse circus and every case including mine and video needs to be pulled and those clowns NEED TO BE FIRED!!! THEY ARE NOT AND I REPEAT NOT GOOD PEOPLE. THE RECEPTIONIST AT THE WINDOW ARE DISRESPECTFUL, RACIST AND ANGRY. THAT PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN BEFORE THEY DO WHAT THEY DID TO ME TO THE WRONG PERSON. PLEASE SOMEBODY , ANYBODY INVESTIGATE DARIN WEINBERG, THE PROSECUTORS , JUDGE MATK MCCONNELL AND THOSE WITCHES AT THE WINDOW ASAP!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
