Overview
Suzanne M. Remington has devoted more than three decades exclusively to family law, specializing in ultra-high and high-net-worth asset divorces. She concentrates on the intricate financial aspects of divorce, including detailed cash-flow analysis for spousal maintenance and child support, valuation and equitable division of closely held businesses, retirement accounts, executive compensation packages, and other complex assets. She also represents clients in contentious contested custody and parenting time matters obtaining desired outcomes for her clients and their children.
“Even the most technical family-law work remains deeply personal,” Suzanne notes. “While I analyze tax consequences, liquidity challenges, or the latest case law, my equal priority is easing the intense stress my clients face. That combination of rigorous advocacy and genuine support is essential to serving them well.”
Over the past thirty-plus years, Suzanne has argued before the Minnesota Supreme Court and appeared frequently before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She has tried numerous cases in district courts throughout the Twin Cities metro area and surrounding counties. She regularly speaks and trains on subjects such as financial early neutral evaluation, Minnesota’s child-support statutes, and best practices in marital dissolution. Suzanne was a Child Support Magistrate, has completed certified civil mediation training, and is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114.
