Hired Law firm 2021-2022I first became interested in the VanDerHeyden law firm, as they offered a no-obligation free consultation, many law firms do NOT offer this service. I called the number and spoke with Paralegal Melaney; she was very friendly and helpful, from the onset. For my consultation, I met with Attorney Nick Rotar; my need was for a divorce attorney. While I do not know much about ‘Law,’ I do read people well. I read Nick as a genuine, honest, and straight forward person. This was critical for me, as much would be at stake, during a divorce. I went with the VanDerHeyden Law Firm and could not be happier with their entire team, throughout the seven month process. My read on Nick, as a genuine, honest, and straight forward person, was ‘spot on.’ Nick was always available via e-mail, and often available for short notice in-person meetings. Nick would break down the legal jargon, into terms a non-attorney could clearly understand. Nick knew when to take offense, knew when to ‘wait,’ and was also was very good at anticipating opposing counsel’s actions, and always ‘knew what to do,’ in response. If you are in the unfortunate situation of needing to get a divorce, I highly recommend VanDerHeyden Law Firm and Attorney Nick Rotar.
