Hired Law firm 2020-2022I am in the darkest place of my life because of Sylvia Zinn. My name is Tony Nayenga and I’m writing you because I was involved in a slip and fall accident at Christ Tempe Apostolic Church in Roseville, Mn on 2/5/20 where I broke both of my legs, suffered a DVT/PE & 3 seizures because of the TBI at the fall. I did not call the police right afterwards to investigate but I called an ambulance later. The insurance company, Brotherhood Mutual waited 2&1/2 years later as Sylvia Zinn was their attorney took a sworn deposition and now they denied my claim on a technicality. I have no recourse as judge Patrick Diamond granted a motion to dismiss on their behalf. Subsequently I have many hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills with new medical ailments and no recourse or means to pay them. I desperately need help.

Hired Law firm 2020-2022Sylvia Zinn is one of the most inconsiderate and insensitive people I know! My life is now permanently messed up because of your inhumane representation for ‘Brotherhood’ Mutual Insurance. We’re real people with real injuries and you’re not the lawyer anyone should use👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
