Karina obtained her first Juris Doctor degree from San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. In 2008, Karina was awarded a full scholarship by the Ford Foundation to pursue her master's degree in Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Karina then moved to Minnesota where she obtained her second Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Karina is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and in Peru. Holding both licenses give Karina unparalleled skills to provide legal representation services in both English and Spanish. Karina can fluently communicate and explain complex information to her Spanish-speaking clients.
Karina is a member of the Minnesota State Bar and the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association.
