Recently I traveled to Minnesota to help plan my Father's Estate. He and I were looking to put a POA and Health Care directive in place as his health has been declining over the past several years. I found this law firm on the FindLaw website through a Google search. There was links to the Gilbert Law website and there I found a short video explaining the Estate law planning process and that they charge a flat fee for service vs. hourly. I found that fee to be a fair average of other law offices I inquired with. The day we were supposed to meet, my Dad had a fall and we spent the day in the ER. I called to ask about moving our meeting to the next week. They were very accommodating. Heather called me personally and understood our situation. She met with us four days later and during that meeting she was able to compress the timeline for completion of our documents to just two days later. We had our second meeting and signed everything, leaving the office with everything we needed. She was so kind and really empathized with me coming from out of town and wanting to make sure that my father would not have to come back and sign the documents without me there.
